Cliff Brodsky penned “I Found God In Hollywood”, over a period of five years. The writing of the book was prompted by his sobriety, – the result of a longstanding fondness for marijuana. “Pot was my God and I knew I was an addict long before I did anything about it,’’ says Brodsky, now over 23 years sober. “I Found God In Hollywood” is an autobiographical collection of 32 short stories that focus on Brodsky’s youth, college life, Hollywood and sobriety. His flair for comedic storytelling, coupled with a unique insight into how people think, or don’t think, for that matter, makes for an entertaining and enjoyable read. “I need people to know that a lot of life’s lessons are funny and that a good sense of humor is just as important as fame and fortune. Actually, a good sense of humor might be one of the most important things in life!”

He built a new recording studio with the architect firm Walter/Storyk Design www.wsdg.com, in an 11,000 square foot custom built creative space equipped with perfromance hall, stage, concert sound system, home theater, gym, spa, and even sleeping accomodations for 20 people! Cliff also built a third studio in Boston primarily for composing and editing album projects while traveling between Beverly Hills and New Hampshire. In June of 2011, Cliff decided that he belonged back in Los Angeles where the worlds best talent has always been. So he moved back to Los Angeles and built yet another world class recording studio, this time with Jay Kaufman who designed Oceanway and countless other recording studios all over the world.
Cliff is currently Producing a new album of his own music as artist and singer/songwriter. The current working title will be: Cliff Brodsky & The Distractions, a collection of 13 original songs written and performed by Cliff and 5 cover songs from the Beatles, David Bowie and Coldplay.

Cliff still enjoys working in the non-profit sector and has funded a scholarship for Berklee College of Music that will empower socially conscious songwriters and producers to use music as an instrument of peace.
